Bernier has about twice as many donors, at 5,909, and they’re giving less money: his average donation is $171.55. Eighteen per cent of Leitch’s donors gave $500 or more; 5.1 per cent gave the legal maximum of $1,525. At that point, her average donation was $393.38, nearly double that of Bernier’s $207.93. His average donation is more than double Leitch’s, at $654.50. Former Vancouver MP Andrew Saxton has the largest average donation, at $794.20.
