The Prime Minister started his update from No9 Downing Street at around 10.15am and is set to explain how the government will support families at home with the cost of living as the US-Israel war with Iran continues. The conflict - now in its fifth week - has driven up global energy prices dramatically and sparked fears of potential shortages of petrol. It comes after US President Donald Trump attempted to wash his hands of the conflict he started, telling the UK and other allies to "go get your own oil".
