The Police Public Relations Officer, Federal Capital Territory Police Command, SP Josephine Adeh, has cautioned couples to keep details of their marriages off the social media space. Adeh who gave the notice on Sunday in a post on her X handle urged couples to instead use social media platforms to promote their businesses to avoid complaints. She posted, “All these married couples showing off love on social media. “Keep your happy homes off social media. A PCRU source who spoke with our correspondent on Sunday revealed that many couples in the FCT had been contacting the police to complain about the activities of their partners on social media and how it adversely affected their marriages.
