Embu MPs and a governor hopeful say the opposition should not bring other matters into the talks to reform the electoral agency. The leaders attended the burial of Rianjagi Coffee Society chairman James Mugo in Kirigi village, Embu North. They are Runyenjes, Manyatta and Mbeere North MPs Cecily Mbarire, John Muchiri and Charles Njagagua respectively and Embu governor aspirant Kithinji Kiragu. They said Cord is exceeding its demands in the talks on reforming the Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission. But Jubilee gave in and accepted dialogue, yet Cord is still non-operative, they said on Saturday.
