KeNHA urges extreme caution on roads as rains continue

The roads authority has urged motorists to exercise caution, especially after flooding, as heavy rains pound several parts of the country. The Kenya National Highways Authority singled out Mombasa-Kilifi-Malindi highway where Mbogolo Bridge near Kilifi town was submerged. “KeNHA engineers have noticed some slight undermining on the upstream but this cannot be fully established until the water subsides fully. KeNHA urges all motorists to be on high alert, and not to attempt to cross any bridges or sections of the road that are overstepped by water."
