Eight people were rescued after a building under construction collapsed in Kutus, Kirinyaga county, on Tuesday morning. Five were treated and discharged and three admitted in hospital, Red Cross said via Twitter. In Mombasa, six people, including a mother and her children, were killed on Monday after the Pandya Hospital perimerer wall collapsed on a house in Mbaraki. This followed heavy rains in several parts of the county where roads were also rendered impassable.
