Eric Giganto struck the equalizer as Kaya FC-Iloilo pulled off a 1-1 draw against Indonesian host PSM Makassar to stay unbeaten in the 2020 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Cup on Tuesday at the Gelora Bung Karno Madya Stadium in Jakarta. Star forward Giganto headed home the equalizer off substitute midfielder Arnel Amita’s cross in the 50th minute of the closed-door fixture, keeping the Lions’ undefeated record in the second-tier continental club tournament. We’re still undefeated and we will look to win our match against them (PSM) at home,” said Kaya head coach Oliver Colina. Kaya captain Jovin Bedic and Japanese striker Takumi Ueasato both had cracks at a winning goal but missed their chances to settle for a draw. The Lions will take on PSM anew on April 15 for its next AFC Cup assignment, but this time at the Rizal Memorial Stadium in Manila.
