The royal couple continued their trip to Scotland with a visit to Starbank Park in Edinburgh on Thursday. "You're very good gardeners," William told the kids as they showed him out to plant the seeds. Kate reportedly told staff at the award-winning chippy the meal was a "trip down memory lane". The pair were friends in their first year before romance blossomed when William saw Kate walk down a fashion show catwalk in a sheer dress. William and Kate also honoured Philip at a previous point in the trip by arriving at a drive-in cinema in one of his beloved Land Rovers.
