Padmavati director Sanjay Leela Bhansali was assaulted in Jaipur yesterday by members of Karni Sena. Following which, the director has cancelled the shoot schedule in the city. On the debate tonight are Lokendra Singh Kalvi, the founder of Karni Sena, Prof Makhan Lal, historian and Film Director Anil Sharma. While Kalvi stays put on his stand that the director was misinterpreting history through his film script, Anil Sharma calls the assault a wrong act. The act by Karni Sena has been drawing flak across the nation however, RSS, ABVP Rajasthan and Vishwa Hindu Parishad have backed the move.
