Chief Minister Siddaramaiah lost his cool and lashed out at the Opposition multiple times in the Legislative Assembly following repeated and unrelenting interruptions while he was speaking on the resolution against the VB-G RAM G Act. At least twice during Tuesday’s session, the Chief Minister angrily asked the members of the treasury benches, who were watching the debate, to stand up and launch a counter-attack at the Opposition. However, as the Chief Minister restarted the debate on the resolution, the Opposition members continued to interrupt him, angering Mr. Siddaramaiah. Earlier in the day, the Chief Minister lost his cool over prolonged debate on the alleged Excise scandal, delaying the resolution against the VB G Ram G Act, 2026. “The Chief Minister is annoyed as he knows that the alleged corruption in the Excise Department will land at his doorstep,” Sunil Kumar hit back.
