Owaisi questions India’s China policy amid Ladakh tension

All India Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslimeen president Asaduddin Owaisi on Tuesday raised a series of questions to the Union government over India’s policy on China, particularly in the context of the situation along the Line of Actual Control in eastern Ladakh. Taking to X Mr Owaisi sought to know what understanding India had reached with China following the military standoff that began in April 2020. Mr Owaisi said the Parliament should be allowed to function so that the opposition could raise these issues. Mr Owaisi maintained that Dalits and Muslims in Telangana lack leadership. He alleged that the Congress and the Bharat Rashtra Samithi had joined hands in ward 38 to defeat the party’s candidate.
