TV host Kanoa Lloyd has taken a 'tongue in cheek' shot at a controversial T-shirt for sale on Trade Me that reads 'It's Okay to be white'. So I'm choosing not to be hurt and to wear this Tee with love (and a bit of tongue in cheek). However since its conception the slogan has been associated with white supremacist organisations, and was celebrated by former KKK leader David Duke. He said it was "funny" that an organisation publishing books against white supremacy were now being accused of the same.
