The Dunedin woman, 42, has interim name suppression and was expected to be sentenced in the Dunedin District Court on Wednesday. But after selling her home to repay the debt, she no longer had a suitable address for home detention. The woman stole the money – a third of the victim's life savings – over a period of years.
