Lochan Ora is trained at Riverton by Kalychurun's employer, Kelvin Tyler, who is also preparing Timy Tyler for the Cup. Lochan Ora has won six of his last seven starts. The Oamaru Cup will be her next mission before she tackles the Group III Winter Cup. It will be Lochan Ora's final start before he contests the $100,000 Winter Cup on the first day of the National meeting at Riccarton on August 6.
