Coalition for Reforms and Democracy (CORD) co-principal Kalonzo Musyoka has reiterated that he is all ready to welcome President Uhuru Kenyatta to Ukambani. “We welcome the president to Ukambani; we are aware he wants to use the visit to hunt for votes. But Wiper leaders were quick to clarify that Kalonzo Musyoka’s meeting with Uhuru during the trip should not be misinterpreted. I will be making similar tours to Gatundu, Kiambu and other places,” the Daily Nation quoted Kalonzo Musyoka. Uhuru’s visit to Ukambani had been previously scheduled to take place on May 19 – 21 but was later postponed after region’s leaders visited State House.
