The outgoing Speaker of the Assembly and senior BJP legislator Kailash Meghwal could be made the Leader of the Opposition in the Assembly. Outgoing chief minister Raje is the front runner for the post. Apart from Raje, the names of former minister for Parliamentary Affairs Rajendra Rathore, outgoing speaker of the Assembly Kailash Meghwal and former home minister Gulab Chand Kataria are also in discussion. Names of Meghwal, Rathore and Kataria are being discussed. Similarly, Kataria is a senior BJP leader.
