Homeboyz stunned the 2016 champions when they secured a converted try via Odhiambo two minutes into the match. But two quick unconverted tries from Sikuta and Johannes restored parity for Kabras. Ayange hit through the poles a converted try, while his mate Wokaorach stepped up the hunt for more points with a converted try to enable his side lead 24-14 at the breather. William Diffu scored a converter try for Homeboyz.
