By DAVID KWALIMWAMore by this AuthorThe government is willing to “chip in” and meet the demands recently forwarded by Harambee Stars coach Paul Put, Sports Principal Secretary Kirimi Kaberia says. Kaberia spoke to Nation Sport on Thursday at the Nyayo National Stadium where he made an inspection visit to monitor the renovations works. “We are here to support the federations and teams, so once we receive their budget and plans, we will obviously chip in and do what we can,” said Kaberia. This move, which the Belgian trainer insisted will help in instilling “professionalism” is expected to cost an additional Sh2 million in salaries alone. At the same time, Kaberia assured the public that the Nyayo National Stadium will be ready for use by end of next month.
