KUALA LUMPUR (Nov 1): The FBM KLCI remained in negative territory at the midday break today amidst some choppy trading, weighed by key blue chips as losers outpaced gainers. The decliners included Dutch Lady Milk Industries Bhd, Panasonic Malaysia Manufacturing Bhd, Genting Plantations Bhd, Sapurakencana Petroleum Bhd, Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd, PPB Group Bhd, UMW Holdings Bhd, Hong Leong Bank Bhd and Genting Bhd. The actives included Kinsteel Bhd, Nexgram Holdings Bhd, AirAsia X Bhd, RGB International Bhd, Asia Media Group Bhd, Hiap Teck Venture Bhd, Perisai Petroleum Teknologi Bhd and Iris Corp Bhd. The gainers included Malaysia Packaging Industry Bhd, Public Bank Bhd, Axiata Group Bhd, George Kent (M) Bhd, KESM Indudstries Bhd, Kobay Bhd, Scientex Bhd and Batu Kawan Bhd. “The FBM KLCI is expected to remain steady and will gradually turn bullish toward the year end.
