KUALA LUMPUR (March 22): The FBM KLCI lost 0.89% and slipped to below 1,740-points at the midday break today, as Asian stocks tumbled. The top losers included Nestle (M) Bhd, United Plantations Bhd, Hong Leong Financial Group Bhd, Genting Malaysia Bhd, Petronas Gas Bhd, Genting Bhd, Public Bank Bhd, Tenaga Nasional Bhd and Hong Leong Bank Bhd. The actives included Dagang NeXchange Bhd, Daya Materials Bhd, Naim Indah Corporation Bhd, Sumatec Reources Bhd, PDZ Holdings Bhd, Dataprep Holdings Bhd, Ho Wah Genting Bhd, Trive Property Group Bhd, Hubline Bhd and KNM Group Bhd. Gainers included Panasonic Malaysia Manufacturing Bhd, Malaysian Pacific Industries Bhd, Far East Holdings Bhd, KLCC Property Holdings Bhd, JMR Consolidation Bhd and George Kent (M) Bhd. “Rally may stall, a short term sell signal has emerged, the FBM KLCI may correct downwards,” it said.
