KUALA LUMPUR (March 22): AirAsia Bhd will add the Langkawi-Shenzhen route into its flights this July, to expand the budget airline's existing markets. In a statement today, AirAsia said the Langkawi-Shenzhen route would be the airline's third international link to Langkawi, after Singapore and Guangzhou. According to AirAsia's statement, the Langkawi-Shenzhen route is scheduled to begin this July 16, with three weekly flights on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. AirAsia issued its statement in conjunction with the new route announcement at the Langkawi International Maritime & Aerospace Exhibition (LIMA). LIMA's website indicates the exhibition, which started yesterday (March 21), will end this Saturday (March 25).
