KUALA LUMPUR (March 2): The FBM KLCI jumped 0.85% at the midday break today, lifted by key blue chips, in line with the gains at most regional markets. At 12.30pm, the FBM KLCI rose 14.53 points to 1,712.22. The gainers included Petronas Dagangan Bhd, Hong Leong Financial Group Bhd, British American Tobacco (M) Bhd, Time dotCom Bhd, JHM Consolidation Bhd, Kuala Lumpur Kepong Bhd, AMMB Holdings Bhd, Petronas Chemicals Group Bhd and Malayan Banking Bhd. The actives included Dagang NeXchange Bhd, Censof Holdings Bhd, JAG Bhd, Hibiscus Petroleum Bhd, Frontken Corp Bhd and KNM Group Bhd. The losers included Heineken Malaysia Bhd, Kluang Rubber Company (Malaya) Bhd, Success Transformer Corp Bhd, Pos Malaysia Bhd, Carlsberg Brewery Malaysia Bhd, Aeon Credit Service (M) Bhd and Gas Malaysia Bhd.
