KUALA LUMPUR (April 12): The FBM KLCI got off to a muted start this morning as regional markets stayed tepid. At 9.05am, the FBM KLCI added 0.38 points to 1,736.22. The top gainers included British American Tobacco (M) Bhd, Time DotCom Bhd, Oriental Food Industries Holdings Bhd, Turbo-Mech Bhd, Telekom Malaysia Bdh, Hartalega Holdings Bhd, Genting Bhd, Lafarge Malaysia Bhd, 7-Eleven Malaysia Holdings Bhd and Pentamaster Corp Bhd. “On the local market, the FBM KLCI lost 3.68 points to 1735.84 points. “Following the lacklustre performance in the US and Europe, the FBM KLCI is expected to remain pressured and trend sideways with support level at 1730 points,” it said.
