K-P police seek PLCs help to tackle Covid-19


Liaiso­n counci­l member­s will use loudsp­eakers to inform people about the danger­s of the virusPESHAWAR: The Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa (K-P) police department has decided to utilise the services of the Public Liaison Councils (PLCs) to fight the novel coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic. Hazara division police chief, DIG Qazi Jameelur Rehman, told The Express Tribune that at least 724 PLCs have been reactivated in different areas to gather information relevant to the Covid-19 situation. DIG Rehman said at least 4,000 people associated with these liaison councils have been mobilized for creating awareness regarding the pandemic.
