KOLKATA: Pitching for a non-BJP and non-Congress front ahead of the next general elections, Telangana CM K Chandrashekar Rao , after calling on his West Bengal counterpart Mamata Banerjee , emphasised the meeting is the “beginning of people’s federal front”. Banerjee, on her part, said: “In a democratic set up, nobody should feel proud of their own identity only. Rahul can express his views and we can express ours.”While echoing Rao, Banerjee said: “It is a good beginning. The agenda that we are going to propose is a different agenda... This is going to be people’s agenda...”
