The biggest obstacle to Gor Mahia marching to a record 16th league title will most probably be complacency and overzealous fans who cost them valuable three points last season. Today, Dylan Kerrâs side will be in Kisumu to take on an unpredictable Chemelil Sugar side. Chemelil suffered a humiliating 4-1 loss to Sofapaka, the side likely to stop Gor from steam rolling to a record extending championship crown. This afternoonâs match is one Chemelil dare not lose particularly if the teams below them get a positive results. For Gor, three more points will not only demoralise the chasing pack but will take them one more step towards a fourth league title in five years.
