The Italian has won the Coppa Italia in his last season in charge, his fifth at the club, with five Serie A titles won with the Old Lady as well. His time is over, though, and Juventus are keen to appoint Thiago Motta after an impressive spell in charge of Bologna. Fabrizio Romano reports that Juventus have offered the 41-year-old a three-year contract and Motta is set to inform them of his decision on his future shortly. ‘When we hired Thiago, he represented something new, a different model of football and of football culture.
