TORONTO — Josh Donaldson celebrated his bobblehead day with a solo homer in the eighth to give the Toronto Blue Jays a 3-2 win over the New York Yankees on Sunday. Trailing 2-0, the Blue Jays tied it up on Justin Smoak’s two-run homer in the sixth. Severino dispatched the next eight batters he faced, with his fastball reaching 99.7 mph, until Pillar singled with two outs in the third. Severino hit Travis on the wrist with a 95 mph delivery to open the Jays’ half of the seventh. The Yankees outscored the Jays 24-9 in winning two of the first three games of the series.
