Aisha Jumwa's fate with registrar of partiesThe fate of Malindi MP Aisha Jumwa (above) now lies with Registrar of Political Parties Anne Nderitu after ODM submitted documents expelling the lawmaker to her office. ODM Secretary General Edwin Sifuna said Opposition leader Raila Odinga’s party conformed to ODM's constitution, Political Parties Act and other relevant laws to expel Jumwa. We have written to the Registrar of Political Parties and anyone who has issues with the process we have should go to court,” said Sifuna. He said once the NDC has ratified expulsion of a member, the party only notifies the registrar of its decision and should the registrar require any other document(s) they will be willing to provide them.
