PhotoJulia Dorothy Yost and Matthew James Schmitz were married Jan. 27 at the Princeton University Chapel in Princeton, N.J. The bride graduated from Penn State and received a master’s degree in fine arts in fiction from Washington University in St. Louis. She is a daughter of Patricia A. Yost and Kenneth J. Yost of State College, Pa. The bride’s father, who is retired, was an associate vice president for research and technology transfer at Penn State. He is a son of René M. Schmitz and Douglas J. Schmitz of O’Neill, Neb.
