more-inThe Madras High Court on Thursday said it would like to meet and interact with students of Saveetha Law College, who allegedly assaulted and ragged their teachers, besides throwing stones at them and indulging in violence in December last. The judge said so after senior counsel P. Wilson, representing the faculty, listed the various acts committed by the protesters. While the students were always welcome to meet their teachers to get their grievances redressed, the senior counsel said, they could not gherao and harass the faculty members. “Please ask the students to come to court on Monday. I would like to interact with them and find out their problems,” the judge said.
