BigstockMong Cho U Marma had been receiving death threats for two years, according to family sourcesA Bangladesh Awami Jubo League leader from Bandarban Sadar upazila has been killed in an armed attack by some unidentified miscreants. The deceased, Mong Cho U Marma, 42, was an organizational secretary of Jubo League's local unit. He joined Jubo League two years ago and his sources close to his family claimed he had been receiving death threats from PCJSS since then. Local sources said a group of six to seven unidentified men attacked Mong Cho and killed him. Confirming the incident, Sadar police station OC Shahidul Islam said: “We were informed about the incident by locals and sent a police team to recover the dead body.”
