Jubilee Party's Kesses MP aspirant Swarrup Mishra was attacked and beaten in Eldoret town on Tuesday. Mishra was taken to Mediheal Hospital before being flown to Nairobi. "We are examining him...he has serious injuries to his neck, which was twisted, and his stomach," one of the doctors said. Reports indicated the attack at Royalton Hotel was by supporters of Swarrup's rival Allan Kosgey. We have been peaceful and law abiding...we demand action on those involved," said Joe Kirwa, the aspirants' team chairman.
