Journalist Utpal Das, who was missing for the past two and a half months, has been found, say his friends and family members. His friend journalist Rajib Ahmed, who works at Daily Samakal, confirmed the Dhaka Tribune around Tuesday midnight that Utpal was dropped off at Bhulota, Narayanganj by several unidentified persons. This Dhaka Tribune correspondent also spoke to Utpal over phone around 12:30am.
