Magistrate Nur Nabi passed the order after Ohiduzzman, investigation officer of the case, produced him before the court with ten-day remand after showing him arrest in the case. Opposing the remand, defence lawyer Tarikul Islam submitted a bail petition for the journalist in the case. Earlier in the day, Ramna police produced Razu before the court on completion of his one-day remand in an ICT case filed with Ramna police station. Teaming the news as false and fabricated, his former employer Walton Group filed a case with Ramna police under the ICT Act. After his arrest, A Dhaka court on Monday placed journalist Razu on a one-day remand in connection with the ICT case.
