Dr. Joseph Siaw Agyepong stressed that “private sector participation in EU-Africa relations is an assured way to foster development on the continent”. She indicated that the EU-AU relationship is being solidified with more focus on the private sector and for which over 4 billion euros have been set aside. Dr. Agyepong stressed that Private sector engagement in development processes should be at the heart of every development agenda. “The private sector is the driver of sustainable and inclusive economic growth, job creation and poverty reduction," he added.
