After much speculation the venue for Joseph Parker's world heavyweight title fight against Andy Ruiz Jr will be announced today. Promoters Duco are holding a press conference in Auckland at 11.30am to confirm the venue for the WBO title fight. Last week Ruiz's promoter Bob Arum seemed to let the cat out of the bag, saying Parker and his man would front a press conference in Las Vegas last Saturday to officially announce the details, including Auckland as the venue. However, that press conference was postponed following the decision by Auckland council's events arm Ateed to withdraw their support for the event, leaving it in a state of limbo. When asked if he thought it was still feasible the fight could be hosted by Auckland, Longergan said:"It makes it really difficult.
