Share TweetBy Charissa Luci-AtienzaThe House Committees on Government Reorganization and Health have approved a bill seeking the establishment of a National Center for Geriatric Health and Research Institute (NCGHRI). The joint panel passed a consolidated bill to benefit the elderly, especially those afflicted with generative communicable and life-threatening diseases. The NCGH shall be located in San Miguel, Manila, according to Salo, a former DOH consultant. Other authors of the bill are Manila Rep. Rosenda Ann Ocampo, Laguna Rep. Sandra Eriguel and Senior Citizens partylist Rep. Milagros Aquino-Magsaysay.
