Former Deputy General Secretary of the National Democratic Congress, Samuel Koku Anyidoho, has emphasized that he only had a working relationship with former President John Dramani Mahama when he served as Head of Communications at the presidency. “He and I were never friends until President Mills made him his running mate. I am under no obligation to fall in love with John Mahama,” he added. In recent years, Koku Anyidoho has been very critical of John Mahama and the current leadership of the NDC. Asked if he was peeved in any way against John Mahama, Anyidoho admitted to harboring sentiments against Mahama for failing to build Asomdwe Park, the burial site of the late President Mills, and failing to honour the legacy of his late boss.
