Early-stage e-mobility start-up BasiGo is looking to fill several positions in its Rwanda offices. The company says it wants to revolutionise the public transportation sector in East Africa by providing bus operators with a cost-effective electric alternative to diesel buses. The Kenyan-based company recently announced a partnership with AC Mobility, Rwanda’s provider of automated fare collection systems for public transport. BasiGo and AC Mobility aim to deliver 200 electric buses to bus operators in Rwanda by the end of 2024.
