PETALING JAYA: The job market needs talents who have gone through Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET), says Datuk Seri Dr Wee Ka Siong (pic). “When I asked if they have entered the workforce, a majority of the graduates said they have already found employment. “A few of them shared that their job offers came even before they graduated from VTAR,” the MCA president said. “This shows that the job market needs talents who have gone through TVET,” he added. VTAR Institute, which was set up by MCA, educates students of all creeds and races, regardless of their political inclination.
