Jhanjharpur Lok Sabha constituency is one of the 40 parliamentary constituencies in Bihar and will go to polls in the third phase of the general elections on April 23. The sitting MP of Jhanjharpur Lok Sabha seat is BJP's Birendra Kumar Chaudhary who won by defeating RJD's Mangani Lal Mandal with a margin of over 55,000 votes. The Jhanjharpur Lok Sabha constituency is made up of six Assembly constituencies - Khajauli, Babubarhi, Rajnagar, Jhanjharpur, Phulparas and Laukaha. Five constituencies of Bihar's 40 Lok Sabha seats - Jhanjharpur, Supaul, Araria, Madhepura and Khagaria - will go to polls in the third phase. The results of the Lok Sabha election 2019 will be declared on May 23.
