Jets not concerned by alleged puck caper

If you thought Jordan Binnington was getting involved in a little bit of gamesmanship or perhaps a psychological battle by running off with the puck after the Winnipeg Jets 2-1 overtime victory in Game 4, think again. The St. Louis Blues netminder was quick to reach into the net and grab the puck after Kyle Connor delivered the goal that evened the series 2-2 on Tuesday night at Enterprise Center. And while video that surfaced seemed to suggest he skated off the ice with the puck, Binnington says that’s not the case. It was the first playoff overtime victory in Jets 2.0 history, but there didn’t seem to be too much concern over the missing souvenir. “I don’t think any of us are looking for a Game 4 puck,” said Scheifele.
