Jet Airways’ Naresh Goyal Says Air India privatisation on his radar

Jet Airways will always see what is the best approach for them and for the country, said chairman Naresh Goyal. Photo: Aniruddha Chowdhury/MintMumbai: Jet Airways (India) Ltd is not ruling out looking at the sale of loss-making national carrier Air India Ltd, its chairman Naresh Goyal said, although he remains focused on his own airline. “But I am not saying that we will not look at Air India, I’ve never said that. Goyal said the plan to privatise Air India is “a brave and very good decision” for India, predicting that the process will ultimately prove successful.
