An open-minded attitude, communication and exchange: that’s what jazz is! “Rockit” – Herbie Hancock’s 1983 hit – is still generating royalties for him today, and that’s really OK! Part of our basic approach is to reach the public and make this music accessible. We want to make it clear that they won’t be disappointed, even if they’re hesitant, thinking that jazz is either free jazz or Dixieland.
