CHENNAI: Tamil Nadu's acting governor Vidyasagar Rao visited chief minister J Jayalalithaa , who is undergoing treatment at Apollo Hospitals here, on Saturday, and said that she is "recovering well". The 68-year-old chief minister was admitted to the hospital on September 22 after she complained of "fever and dehydration".The governor spent around 35 minutes at the hospital. He appreciated the doctors for providing best medical care and treatment to her, the release said. The governor presented a basket of fruits and wished the chief minister a speedy recovery.Earlier, ruling AIADMK functionary B Valaramathi told reporters Jayalalithaa was healthy. She pointed out that Jayalalithaa was performing official duties and had even announced the party's candidates for this month's civic polls.
