MANILA, Philippines — Japanese Ambassador to the Philippines Koji Haneda on Monday said he will help Manila Mayor Isko Moreno in promoting Intramuros as a tourism destination for Japanese tourists. Haneda made the assurance during his courtesy call on Moreno following the flag-raising ceremony at the Manila City Hall. After the meeting, Haneda gave Moreano a white plate with the image of a phoenix as a token to remember his visit. In return, Moreno gave Haneda the symbolic key to the city of Manila.
