Clashes have broken out in Jammu and Kashmir's Kulgam district where a Lashkar terrorist was killed in an encounter with the security forces earlier today. The Lashkar commander, who was killed in Behibagh area of Tantrypora, has been identified as Ishfaq Padar. The encounter that broke out on the occasion of Eid today has led to clashes in Kulgam district and also in Anantnag. Locals protested against the Lashkar commander's killing, pelting the security personnel with stones.
