Jammu and Kashmir's SIT busted Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) module planning to revive militancy in Chenab valley and arrested five men for the attack on police picket in Tanta in Doda district in which two cops were grievously injured. In view of the attack IGP Jammu, Dr. S.D Singh visited Doda and constituted a SIT to probe the attack. On sustained interrogation of the trio, the entire chain of events leading to the attack on police picket was revealed. It turned out that Abdul Rashid Harga was in contact with one Bashir Ahmed, who earlier worked in 139 TA Bn in Thathri. With the arrest of these 5 accused, recovery of weapon and busting of LeT module, cops claim the police picket attack case has been solved.
