James Neal never did fit in with the Calgary Flames. Earlier that summer the two also signed each other’s former goaltenders with Cam Talbot going to Calgary and Mike Smith coming to Edmonton. Neal goes into the game against the Flames on Friday (7 p.m.) at Rogers Place with 16 goals on the season. “I scored 20-plus goals 10 years in a row, and obviously, going (to Calgary) I was expecting to do the same,” Neal said. “With both teams doing well and the way the points are right now it’s going to be a big game,” Neal said.
